The solar panels produce our green energy<\/h3>\n

\"Solar
\nCustoM 2.0’s house is green also thanks to the solar panels.
\nSince the end of November 2021, the PV panels installed on the roof of the CustoM 2.0 headquarters have been in operation.
\nThe investment supported by CustoM 2.0 and by CBM, the real estate company controlled by CustoM and owner of the property, marries and integrates with other important investments oriented towards Electrification, with evident Green outlines. The characteristics of the photovoltaic system installed are such as to produce energy in such quantities as to eliminate the consumption of the main service users, especially in the warmer seasons. In this way, we will be able to benefit from savings on the energy bill, recently weighed down by considerable tariff increases. In addition, this will make it possible to use, if necessary, all the power available from the traditional supply, also recently upgraded.
\n<\/a><\/p>\n

The Cella70 FPT Powertrain Technologies: AR technology applied to Maintenance<\/h3>\n

\"Augmented
\nAfter the success achieved with the AR training project for the 500 BEV (Battery Electric Vehicle), the AR Dvision Team, born from the synergy between CustoM 2.0 and Solve.it, was involved in another interesting challenge launched by FPT Industrial aimed to the introduction of AR technology in the Maintenance & Testing sector.<\/p>\n

In order to ensure constant monitoring of the complex systems that make up the Cella70, a cell for testing endothermic engines in controlled barometric climatic conditions, an application <\/strong> was created which, through the use of a tablet, allows you to recognize the environment with a simple shot <\/strong> and return the location of the equipment involved in the verification, with the indication of the path to reach them enriched with elements present “in augmented reality”. < \/ strong><\/p>\n

To illustrate how AR Technology can prove useful in particularly complex maintenance processes <\/strong>, the AR Dvision Team focused on a type of fundamental equipment for the Cella70: humidifiers. With the help of this AR application it is possible to consult and execute the work instructions <\/strong> which lead, for example, to the disassembly of a component, but also the consultation in real-time <\/ strong > the availability of spare parts in the warehouse, reducing errors and processing times <\/strong>, guaranteeing high standards of quality and safety.<\/p>\n

Electrification – A step forward<\/h3>\n

Lately CustoM 2.0 has made further steps forward to put the testing facilities dedicated to the world of electrification<\/strong> into service at its operational headquarters in Grugliasco.<\/p>\n

The equipment for the control room and mechanical components have been completed and the team of people who will carry out the tests on the electric motors<\/strong>, also in collaboration with the Polytechnic of Turin, has been enriched.<\/p>\n

In the first months of 2022 we will start with validation, functional and performance tests on components for electrification in the automotive world<\/strong>, in a process of continuous improvement of structures and know-how.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
