The purpose, in terms of system architecture, it is, on one hand, the distribution of the control with remote devices installed in the tunnel, on the other hand, the governance service distributed on multiple web services for managing multi-user in the control room.
The remote devices are able to activate and read the states of the system (large current) for ventilation and lighting, and manage scenaries such as the presence of fire in a tunnel or accidents between vehicles according to event-driven logic.
Data collection is governed by a legacy middleware that queries the distributed network devices, receives commands via web services of control room, populates DB for logging of measurements, alarms and events.
The operator interface is handled by the web server with dashboards bearing general and detailed synoptic.
