CustoM 2.0 has developed a vision system for dynamic recognition of a barcode inside a vacuum chamber.
A fully customized dynamic recognition system, which allows, through a precision camera, to read a plastic film tape that runs at a variable speed up to a maximum of 300 m/min.
The reading process of the plastic film tape is in vacuum conditions. CustoM 2.0 has developed a dynamic barcode recognition system that is able to operate in such conditions. During the design phase, the choice of each electronic component and above all the reading sensor was strongly conditioned by the absence of gravity and ventilation inside a vacuum chamber that could compromise the result during the recognition activity.
Also, the passage of the cables from inside to outside and conversely is managed by dedicated components to guarantee the integrity of the signal transmission. For this system, CustoM 2.0 has implemented the integration of the components and designed a box for protecting the reading sensor. The shape and material of the TLC vacuum system have been designed to allow the camera to be able to function correctly inside the vacuum chamber.
The CustoM 2.0 dynamic barcode recognition system is also equipped with an illuminator chosen for this type of application and an HMI interface that allows the real-time check of the acquired codes.
